The rules are described in EASA’s European Regulation. Regulations are based on the risk profile of a type of flight. Here a distinction is made between the Open category and the Specific category.

We do the training internally at Drone Flight Academy. They have been designated by the Dutch government as an approved training organization.

We are largely dependent on the lead time of the ILT. On average, we spend about a month developing the plan of action ourselves. The ILT’s turnaround time is often 8 weeks.

The entire process begins with creating a joint plan of action, where we outline the requirements for paperwork, training, and hardware. Once finalized, your organization will be authorized to deploy drones.
